If falling asleep and waking to the sounds of waves softly lapping against the shore appeal to you, then this cottage is worth checking out. Situated on the north shore of Lake Simcoe, the water practically begs you to get out of bed and jump in before having breakfast. The water is shallow with a lovely sand bottom. Perfect for your little one to wade or learn to swim. For the more adventurous, you can walk out further for the thrill of deep-water swimming.

The lake is visible from the patio doors of the master bedroom and from virtually every corner of the main floor, thanks to the window wall. The open concept living room and kitchen ensure that everyone stays connected, even the cook. The cook will find everything he/she needs to prepare healthy meals, fridge, stove, BBQ, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, cooking utensils, pots and pans and dishes.

The large wrap around deck is perfect for entertaining and the sand beach is a fun spot for horseshoes or building sand castles. Test your astronomical knowledge and see how many constellations you can discover while you relax your tired muscles in the hot tub.

Teach the kids how to build a campfire and watch how quickly they start to fall asleep watching the dancing flames.

Nearby attractions will keep you busy on those days where you desire a change of scenery, including the Stephen Leacock Museum, Casino Rama, Farmer’s Market (Saturday mornings), Orillia Oprah House, golf, bowling, shopping and dining.
