We are located in beautiful Port Stanley, Ontario. Found on the north shore of Lake Erie. Our village offers our guests galleries, shopping, fabulous restaurants, live theatre, golf, marinas, a working harbour, and two sandy beaches. Beaches and most amenities are within comfortable walking distance of the Harbour View Bed & Breakfast.

After meeting several years ago, we realized we had the same dream of operating a Bed and Breakfast. Mike’s family are 3rd generation Long Point residents and Nikki’s family owned a summer retreat on the Rideau Canal near Kingston. Living near water was a must. We looked for quite sometime before we found the Mitchell House in Port Stanley.

The house seemed perfect for what we had dreamed about, opening a bed and breakfast.The second level overlooks the harbour and the King George lift bridge that operates throughout the year. Nikki s’ background is Interior Design and has owned her own business for many years, appeared on several design shows, teaches interior design at Westervelt College and is the Design Consultant for Wastell Builders.

Mikes’ background is hospitality, travelling extensively across Canada and working in Banff, Victoria BC. and owning his own restaurant in Tillsonburg not far from Port Stanley. With our mutual love of architecture and the desire to maintain the original characteristics of this stately, historical home, we began major renovations, and after what seemed like an eternity, we are pleased to open our doors and invite you to experience the Harbour View.
