Every amenity for a great vacation. At Black Rock you will find we have not overlooked the many ways we can make your holiday as convenient as possible. Within steps of your cabin you will find complete laundry facilities, boat and motor rentals, sheltered habour with ample docking, lifejackets, tackle and bait, fish cleaning station and sauna.

Although we love animals, to ensure a restful stay for all our guests we ask that you
please do not bring family pets to the resort.

At Black Rock Resort there is lots to do. Whether sunbathing on our groomed, sandy beach with the current best-seller or casting for the catch of the day. Black Rock Resort offers an enjoyable holiday pastime for every family member.

Fabulous fishing right at your doorstep for bass, pike, lake trout, salmon, perch, splake and whitefish. Swimming and snorkeling in the sparkling clean water of South Bay. Large groomed playing field and equipped children's play area with horseshoe pitch. Enjoy a crackling bonfire while taking in the beauty of the northern night sky.

Breathtaking cliff views with trails and fields of wild flowers to please the hiker and photographer. Cyclists will enjoy Manitoulin's quiet roads through picturesque woodland settings.

In winter, hardier guests can enjoy the groomed cross-country and snowmobile trails located less than ten minutes away. Ice fishing is popular on nearby Lake Manitou and ice hut rentals are available. Black Rock Road is open year round, and our cottages are fully winterized.

Take in a majestic Manitoulin sunrise from the deck of your private Black Rock cabin. We offer 10 housekeeping cabins. Simple housekeeping or Full American Plan accommodation is available. Our cabins are clean, comfortable and cozy; to ensure an enjoyable stay our cabins feature:

- Comfortable furnishings and beds, including cozy beds for the kids or larger parties.with a clean, modern bathroom. We supply all bedding.

- Convenient kitchens with all dinnerware and cooking utensils.

- Family size picnic table with plenty of deck chairs and bonfire pit, looking out on to spectacular South Bay views.

- For the camper, secluded soft ground, natural treed tent and trailer sites available with or without hookups.
