Poppies has the distinct African theme with many artifacts brought back from trips to Egypt and Kenya. Laying in bed you can gaze through the shear African print canopy as the ceiling fan creates a gentle breeze. There are other treasures that catch your eye and if you feel adventurous try serenading your lover with the didgeridoo. The first thing to catch your eye as you enter the bathroom is the painting of bright red poppies hanging on the wall above the oversized bathtub where two can comfortable enjoy a bubble bath. Bubbles supplied. Venture out onto your private covered deck and find a table for two to enjoy your breakfast while you listen to the birds greet the morning, or spend the afternoon relaxing on the chaise loungers.

As you enter Iris the small kitchenette area is the first thing that greets you as it is tucked away from the main area where you find your canopied king size bed. This room has a TV/DVD player for those who want to catch up on some of those old movies. Popcorn is provided in each room for those stay in evenings. The décor of Iris is somewhat eclectic from the Fijian tapa hanging above the bed to the African carvings and Chinese pottery that adorn the fireplace and cabinets. Even the small table is a vase transformed. In the storage box there are books and a few games for those rainy days that encourage you to just kick back and stay indoors by the fireplace. Even during stormy winter nights Wildflowers offers a refuge for you and your loved one to leave the everyday behind.

Rates are $189 per night plus applicable taxes, based on a two night minimum. We accept Visa, MasterCard or cash. We require a credit card number to secure your reservation. If you need to cancel our policy is no charge if canceled up to 7 days prior to your stay. A one night fee of $189 will be charged for cancellations of less than 7 days prior to your stay. We will make every attempt to rebook the cottage and if successful there will be no cancellation fee.

Do you need to escape with your loved one for a romantic getaway? Wildflowers Bed & Breakfast can provide you with two days of romance. This package includes two nights accommodation with a gourmet breakfast delivered each morning to your room. You will arrive the first night to find chocolates and complimentary wine in your room. The luxurious bathrooms are well appointed with oversized bathtubs for that bubble bath for two. Thick, plush terry robes for extra comfort while you lounge before rejuvenating with a blissful sleep in the king-size bed with down comforters. The next day is yours to relax and enjoy the surroundings; six acres of forest, ponds, waterfalls, gardens and nature. If you prefer you can explore the Sunshine Coast and its many attributes. That evening you have reservations and a $75.00 voucher at one of our finest waterfront restaurants featuring Westcoast cuisine. Satiated, you will return to the sanctuary of your cabin for another romantic interlude.
