Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION: - A thirty (30) day notice is required for cancellations for one week stays or more. A fourteen (14) day cancellation is required for 1-6 nights. A $50.00 Administration Fee applies to all cancelled reservations. Cancellations that are made more than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date of (14) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty except if deposits were made via credit card. All credit card cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30 days or 14 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and damage/reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departures as well as no shows do not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. Since our Sunshine Coast Villa Vacation rental policies must be more restrictive than a hotel, we recommend that you purchase Traveler's Insurance to protect your vacation. A cancellation is very disappointing to both the guests who have decided to cancel and the owners of A Bay Hideaway. More than likely, we have turned other guests away who would have reserved the Villa vacation rental for your dates.
