Nestled on the banks of the Miramichi River in the quaint village of Doaktown, New Brunswick, Canada, O'Donnell's Cottages & Expeditions offers vacationers of every season a cozy place to rest their head and enjoy the nature that surrounds them. Experience the hospitality and beauty that has made the Miramichi River world famous!

O'Donnell's is a family owned and operated accommodations and soft-adventure business located on the shores of the world famous Miramichi River in central New Brunswick, Canada. Beginning in 1991 with one cottage and 17 acres of riverfront property, Valerie O'Donnell and her husband Jackie have worked to build the business to what is now called O'Donnell's Cottages & Expeditions.

By 1995 two more cottages had been added, as well as several Old Town canoes, kayaks, tubes and bicycles to address the growing demands for eco-adventures. The 1999 purchase of Clearwater Hollow Expeditions - one of the largest providers of eco-tourism on the Miramichi - solidified O'Donnell's as a first class adventure provider. In 2000, a fourth cottage was added, this time a 3-bedroom unit.

Continuing to follow the demand of its customers, O'Donnell's added a new service building in 2004 which is the main office. It also houses public laundry facilities, a payphone, a pop machine, a kitchen and a dining/meeting room for special events and packages, as well as business meetings.

O'Donnell's most recent expansion has just been completed with the addition of a building offering four kitchenette suites, a hot tub and sauna.

We have grown continuously over the last two decades and we acknowledge our loyal guests for this success. Thank you! and we hope you will continue to visit us to enjoy the Miramichi River and all it has to offer.

Let the peaceful surroundings of this great family cottage ease you into your vacation state of mind. Wake up to a cup of fresh coffee and bask in the sunshine of your screened-in verandah, cozy your living area up on the cool nights with a fire in the glass-front wood stove, prepare hassle-free meals on the BBQ, and rest in comfort in the bright and comfy bedrooms.

This 2-Bedroom cottage has:
•2 double beds
•2 single beds

As with all the cottages, Cottage #1 comes equipped with the following:

a kitchen equipped with a fridge,
stove, microwave,
coffee maker,
as well as dishes,
pots/pans, and utensils
a living room with cable TV, DVD,
fold out futon,
glass-front wood stove,
and electric heat for cooler nights

•screened in verandah
•a full bathroom

Rates start as low as $899.00 / week and $149.00 / night

•Rates are based on Double Occupancy. The charge for additional persons is $10 -$25 each.
