The property is VERY private and spacious....approx. 300 ft deep with 100 feet of pristine waterfront...providing plenty of room for outdoor games and sunshine activities. Unlike many other Kawartha cottage rentals, this property is very flat making it usable for "lawn" activities...and did we mention the gardens?

What Is Provided

UPPER JAMES MANOR is located on Chemong Lake which is a lake well known for it's excellent fishing. It is a host to both Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Pickerel (aka walleye), crappie, Sunfish, Pumpkinseed and the monster of freshwater fish... the Musky (aka muskellunge).

UJM provides the best in Chemong Lake recreation, including a private sandy walk-in beach for wading and everything the lake and Trent system offers in boating and swimming. A 50 foot dock is available for your boating and leisure convenience.

The raised dock overlooks the natural rock garden, the expansive greenbelt, the hot tub and the waterfront and is a great place for just hanging out. Being just off the breezeway and clsoe to the kitchen, makes it very convenient to dine outdoors. Enjoy your morning coffee there and watch the local waterfowl play near the shorleline. The location of UJM on Chemong Lake provides a comfortable off-lake breeze which lasts most of the day, but usually (like the lake), settles down to a soothing calmness as the sun sets and dusk approaches. The view also provides an unsurpassed exposure to the Kawartha sunsets each night.

The Master bedroom boasts a huge over the bed skylight and it's own designer ensuite. Huge view window overlooks front sitting area under shade tree. It is decorated in an African theme.

Bedroom #2 has it's own exterior entrance !

TV room with futon that folds out turning it into a bedroom, back window faces on to breezeway.

bedroom #4 is off the garage area so is very separate from the rest of the house..entrance is off north side of the breezeway
